I attended DemonConX today with my shared stand with Squishi Kitti. I always have such a ridiculously fun day when I am with this awesome lady, and today was no different!
We arrived early (like ridiculously early) and unloaded the car before embarking on the mystical tour of Maidstone to park the car. Once all parked up we made our way back to the Star Arcade to start setting up. We had such great intentions to set up and eat breakfast before the early bird tickets entered, unfortunately this was not the case :( We couldn't get our front signs (a new extra to our table display) to stay on the front, and this took up a lot of our setting up time. Regardless of this little hiccup we finally set up and started chatting to all the attendees.
Me and Nandi always meet such lovely people whilst working the stand, and I can say exactly the same for today. It is so ace to see an event like this can connect so many local people with the same interests. There isn't really much around like this unless you travel to bigger cities like London etc, so it is fun to do the more local events to see just how many people enjoy the same things as you.
I know me and Nandi would like to thank everyone who swung by said hey, geeked out with us (We did a lot of geeking out) and also purchased from us! Without you guys our day would of seriously sucked! So hooray that wasn't the case :P
Keep your eyes peeled for the images from my Pin Up Captain America shoot!
Until next time!
Today I shot something awesome, and I mean REALLY awesome! Me and Nandi have been planning this shoot since December last year and it is safe to say it didn't disappoint. As you can see above it was all shot on green screen which means the images we captured today aren't anything to look at, but when they have been edited...OH MY THEY ARE GOING TO BE SWEET!!!
Catalyst Latex were kind enough to make us all 3 of the awesome costumes I am sporting in the selfies above. If you haven't guessed yet the theme for the shoot was of course Batman! It was so cool embodying all the different personalities of the characters throughout the day. The Joker was probably my favourite. I got to pull so many awesome faces when I gender bent him.
We shot these images for a publication, so no sneaky peeks until it is released! Believe me when I say it will be worth the wait. They are probably some of my favourites out of everything I have shot this year! (Yup they are that good!)
Until next time!
